Job Purpose
To lead the company//'s commercial operations, including procurement, contract management, pricing, order execution, logistics, invoicing, statutory compliance, and commercial governance, ensuring profitable growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily dispatch planning and execution of electrical testing equipment as per customer delivery schedules.
- Process customer Purchase Orders (POs) and create sales orders in SAP/ERP systems.
- Coordinate with Sales, Production, Engineering, Quality, Stores, and Logistics teams to ensure equipment readiness and timely dispatch.
- Verify customer PO requirements, delivery schedules, product details, serial numbers, and required documentation before shipment.
- Prepare and process dispatch documents including:
- Tax Invoice
- Ensure proper packing, labeling, and documentation of equipment before dispatch.
- Coordinate with transporters, courier agencies, and logistics partners for timely delivery.
- Track dispatched materials and follow up for delivery confirmation and Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Maintain dispatch records, shipment tracking details, pending order status, and customer delivery reports.
- Coordinate with customers regarding dispatch schedules, delivery status, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with Finance for billing, invoice submission, payment-related documentation, and customer queries.
- Maintain customer PO files, commercial records, and dispatch documentation as per company procedures.
- Support tender/project-related commercial documentation requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports related to order booking, dispatch status, invoicing, pending deliveries, and delivery performance.
- Ensure compliance with GST, e-Invoicing, e-Way Bill, and internal dispatch procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor//'s degree in Commerce, Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain or related field.
- 4-6 years of experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, order processing, or commercial operations.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of order management, dispatch processes, and invoicing.
- Experience with SAP (SAP SD/MM preferred).
- Knowledge of GST documentation and logistics processes.
- Good command of MS Excel and MIS reporting.
- Strong coordination skills with internal teams and customers.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
