A Service Advisor in the two-wheeler (motorcycle and scooter) sector acts as the link between customers and the workshop/service team. Their primary responsibility is to ensure customer vehicles are serviced efficiently while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction
- Greet customers and understand their vehicle issues or service requirements.
- Explain service procedures, costs, and estimated delivery times.
- Address customer queries and complaints professionally
- Vehicle Inspection
- Conduct a preliminary inspection of the vehicle.
- Record customer concerns and identify visible issues.
- Prepare a job card with accurate service details.
- Service Coordination
- Assign work to technicians and monitor repair progress.
- Coordinate with spare parts and workshop teams.
- Ensure repairs and maintenance are completed according to company standards.
- Cost Estimation and Billing
- Prepare repair estimates and obtain customer approval.
- Explain charges, labor costs, and spare parts costs.
- Verify invoices before vehicle delivery.
- Vehicle Delivery
- Review completed work and quality checks.
- Explain the work performed and future maintenance requirements.
- Ensure timely vehicle delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Follow up with customers after service.
- Promote periodic maintenance, service packages, and accessories.
- Maintain service records and customer databases.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic technical knowledge of motorcycles and scooters.
- Problem-solving and complaint-handling abilities.
- Computer proficiency for service management software.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
Qualification
- Diploma or ITI in Automobile Engineering/Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree can be an advantage.
- Experience in automotive service, sales, or customer support is often valued.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
