Job Purpose
Lead the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of air cooler products to deliver high-quality, cost-effective, innovative, and reliable products while meeting customer requirements and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead new air cooler product development from concept to mass production.
- Design and develop plastic, sheet metal, and mechanical components.
- Improve existing products for quality, performance, and cost reduction.
- Develop BOMs, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Conduct DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, DFA, and value engineering activities.
- Coordinate prototype development and validation testing.
- Ensure compliance with BIS, safety, and quality standards.
- Work closely with Production, Quality, Purchase, Tool Room, and Sales & Marketing teams.
- Resolve field failures through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Manage tooling development and vendor technical support.
- Lead product benchmarking and competitor analysis.
- Monitor project timelines and ensure on-time product launches.

Qualification
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
- 5–10 years in R&D/Product Development of Air Coolers, Home Appliances, or Consumer Durables.
- Minimum 3–5 years in a leadership role.
