Role Overview
ResearchAyu is seeking a high-performance Video Editor to produce data-driven video assets for both Paid Media (Meta, Google, YouTube) and Organic Social channels - who understands pacing, clarity and storytelling. The primary objective is to convert viewers into leads by blending traditional editing, psychological triggers, and AI video generation. We require a professional who prioritizes retention metrics and "Winning Ad" frameworks over purely aesthetic edits.
1. Mandatory Technical Skill Set
Core NLE Software: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
Motion & Graphics: High-level competency in After Effects for direct-response overlays, animated CTAs, and graphic explainers.
AI Video Generation: Proven ability to use Runway, Luma, or Kling AI to generate realistic B-roll and high-fidelity video assets from scratch.
AI Audio & Lip-Sync: Experience with HeyGen/Synthesia (Avatars) and ElevenLabs (Voiceovers) to create seamless, realistic content.
Platform Formatting: Expert knowledge of technical requirements for Meta (Reels/Feed), YouTube (Shorts/Long-form), Instagram, and Google Discovery.
2. Performance & Creative Strategy
Visualization & Storytelling: Translate scripts into clear, scene-by-scene visual sequences while thinking in terms of shots, camera angles, transitions, and emotional flow & aligns perfectly with the intended vision.
Conversion Optimization: Ability to design videos specifically to drive "Clinic Visits"-understanding how to bridge the gap between an ad and an appointment booking.
Algorithm Fluency: Deep understanding of Meta and Google Ad algorithms. Deep understanding of how Meta & Google algorithms reward creative diversity. You know how to build "Algorithm-Friendly" videos.
Direct Response Techniques: Mastery of Hook-Rate (3-second) and Hold-Rate (Retention) optimization.
Psychology of Video: Understanding viewer behavior to create credible, high-trust content (Doctor-led explainers, Patient Testimonials, and AI-assisted educational reels).
Data Literacy: Ability to read "Retention Graphs" in Ads Manager and pinpoint exactly where to "trim the fat" to keep viewers engaged.
3. AI Video Stack (Including but not limited to): (Hands-on experience with the following for generating realistic b-roll and assets):
Google Flow (Gemini/Veo 3.1): Using Scene Builder and "Ingredients-to-Video" for consistent cinematic sequences.
Runway (Gen-4.5): Mastery of Multi-Motion Brushes and Camera Controls for precise AI-video manipulation.
Kling AI 3.0: For high-fidelity human movement and realistic physical interactions (liquids, smoke, medical environments).
Luma Dream Machine: For rapid prototyping of creative hooks.
4. Mandatory Experience:
Candidates must possess the following to be considered:
Performance Portfolio: A demonstrated history of creating ads that drove measurable business results (Clicks/Leads/Visits).
AI Implementation: Ability to showcase at least 2-3 projects where Realistic AI Video was used to enhance or create the final asset.
AI Native Workflow: Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to solve "lack of footage" problems by generating realistic clinic b-roll.
High-Volume Delivery: Capability to iterate rapidly based on performance data (e.g., swapping a hook or re-pacing a video within a 24-hour window).
Speed-to-Market: Delivering a "Winning Ad" first-cut within 24-48 hours.
Cross-Platform Adaptation: Experience in managing both Paid Ad Assets (conversion focused) and Organic Social (engagement/educational focused).
Key Responsibilities:
Post-Production: Transform raw footage, AI-generated assets, and patient stories into high-performing video content.
A/B Test Variants: Generate multiple "Hook" variations for the same video to test against Meta/Google algorithms.
Organic & Educational Content: Produce informative, platform-ready reels and YouTube content that aligns with the brand’s tone.
Sound & Graphics: Own the sound design, color grading, and captioning to ensure all videos are consumable "sound-off."
Collaboration: Work alongside the marketing team to translate performance analytics into creative improvements.
