Role Description The CCTV Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Jharsuguda. The technician will install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, DVR/NVR systems, and related security equipment across project sites and facilities. Daily responsibilities include performing site surveys, routing and terminating cables, testing system performance, and diagnosing and resolving technical issues to ensure continuous surveillance coverage. The role involves coordinating with project managers and other technical teams, documenting work performed, and providing clear guidance to users on system operation and basic maintenance. The technician is also expected to follow safety procedures, handle equipment and any hazardous materials responsibly, and deliver professional, respectful customer service to internal stakeholders and external clients.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in CCTV installation and configuration, including cameras, recorders, cabling, and networking basics.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and customer service skills to interact with colleagues, contractors, and clients in a clear, professional manner.
- Candidates should possess proven troubleshooting abilities to diagnose faults, perform repairs, and optimize system performance.
- Candidates should possess awareness of working safely around hazardous materials and adherence to safety protocols and site regulations.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in electronics, electrical, IT, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in CCTV or security systems installation and maintenance in industrial or construction environments is an advantage.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings, use hand and power tools safely, and work at heights when required.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability in meeting deadlines, and willingness to work on-site at various project locations in and around Jharsuguda.
Pay: ₹15,500.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
