A. Job Purpose
1. Carry out inspection and certification of work connected with the aircraft maintenanceof instrument, electrical, radio communication / navigation, airframe and powerplant.
2. The individual will be responsible for the performance of scheduled and un-scheduledmaintenance. She/ he shall ensure assigned aircraft are supported and maintained in anairworthy condition.
B. Key Accountabilities
Roles and Responsibilities
1. Ensure that all work performed in connection with Maintenance or repair/overhaul asstated above are in accordance with the requirements/recommendations of themanufacturer and/or Regulatory Requirements while carrying out maintenance work.
2. Responsible for all work carried out and certified by him on the aircraft under the scopeof his authorization privilege and to ensure that all statutory regulations regardingairworthiness of the aircraft and company requirements are met.
3. Ensure all work sheets, inspection schedules and maintenance records pertaining to thework are properly completed, certified, and preserved in accordance with the civilairworthiness requirements.
4. Ensure that all the delay reports and occurrence reports are prepared timely
5. Only AMEs or specially authorized persons will make Technical Log entries and sign thesame as prescribed in the Regulatory Requirements. Ensure that defects observed duringinspection and those reported by the flight crew during the flight are rectified in anapproved manner. Major defects will also be brought to the notice of post holdersthrough the respective Maintenance Managers /LMM/BMM/ SICs.
6. Ensure that inspection and any other work done is carried out as per approved methodsemploying standard airworthiness practices and compliance of rules and regulationsenforced by the DGCA.
7. Ensure that tools and equipment used during maintenance are in serviceable conditionand they are subjected to periodical inspection / calibration wherever applicable.
8. Report defective shop equipment or tools for necessary rectification.
9. Ensure that only approved materials and parts are used during all stages of the work.
10. Ensure that while handling equipment, tools, and in carrying out servicing of aircraft orcomponents, etc. safety procedures are followed.
11. Keep up to date knowledge in respect of technical requirements and instructions issuedfrom time to time by the Quality Department and Technical Services Department, themanufacturer of aircraft or components and Airworthiness authorities.
12. Supervise the work being performed by Sr. Engineer, Engineer & the technicians or othertechnical staff and to ensure that standard Airworthiness procedures and requirementsare observed by them.
13. All AMEs/Approved persons shall exercise the privileges as per scope of license orapproval subject to validity/Rating and Current Experience as stipulated in the relevantdirectives issued by the DGCA.
14. Ensure that all interchangeability of components is confirmed through IPC/IPDreference and or, other relevant approved documentation.
15.Reporting all vehicle, ramp, and aircraft un-serviceability immediately to the ShiftIn charge.
16.Maintain a personal logbook with details of all maintenance activity carried out bythe individual.
Any other additional responsibility could be assigned to the role holder from time to timeas a standalone project or regular work. The same would be suitably represented in thePrimary responsibilities and agreed between the incumbent, reporting officer and HR.

E. Key Interfaces
Internal Interfaces
Engineering Teams : Responsible for carrying out analysis for all technical delays incoordination with MCC and Technical Services and maintain record. Take appropriateaction for improvement
External Interfaces
DGCA Representatives: Coordinate with DGCA representatives over various regulatory requirements.
F. Educational and Experience Requirements
Minimum Education requirements
1. 10+2 (PCM) or Equivalent.
2. Ab-Initio AME Training from a DGCA approved institution
.3. Must be holding CAR 66 Type Rating of Cat B1 or B2 or C License on Airbus & Boeing fleet in Company.
Experience
1. Minimum 3 years of experience as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer
2. Must hold a valid DGCA license with type rating on Boeing 777 or Boeing 787 or Airbus A350.
Pay: From ₹225,000.00 per month
