Educational Qualification: BE – Mech/Automobile
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Automotive Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of experience with CATIA software in a design or engineering role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with automotive aerospace or industrial product design is preferred.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and PDM tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using CATIA (V5 or 3DEXPERIENCE).
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to ensure proper fit, form, and function.
- Perform design simulations and analysis to validate concepts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing and quality assurance.
- Modify existing designs to improve performance or reduce cost.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMS, and release packages.
- Participate in design reviews and implement feedback.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
