Job Description: Infrastructure Engineer (OpenShift & Automation)
Role Overview:
The Infrastructure Engineer will focus on the operational health, deployment, and automation of our containerized and virtualized environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deployment: Perform Red Hat OpenShift deployments using Agent-based installers and HCP (Hosted Control Planes).
- OpenShift Virtualization: Deploy and manage Virtual Machines (VMs) directly within OpenShift using KubeVirt; perform basic VM migrations and lifecycle management.
- Automation: Execute and modify Ansible playbooks for automated provisioning, patching, and configuration management of Linux and Windows nodes.
- Operations: Support hybrid environments with knowledge of VMware and Hyper-V to assist in workload transitions.
- Troubleshooting: Provide support for OpenShift cluster health, pod connectivity, and persistent storage issues.
Technical Requirements:
- OpenShift: 2+ years of experience with Red Hat OpenShift (RHOCP) and Kubernetes.
- Virtualization: Strong understanding of OpenShift Virtualization; functional knowledge of VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper-V.
- Automation: Proficiency in Ansible (running playbooks, understanding YAML structures). OS: Solid administration skills in RHEL (Linux) and Windows Server.
Certifications (Required):
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
