Job Summary
To administer and support the Company's compensation, payroll, benefits, and statutory compliance processes, ensuring accurate and timely employee payments, compliance with applicable laws, and efficient management of employee benefits. This role partners closely with HR leadership, Finance, and business heads to attract, retain, and motivate talent through effective pay and benefits strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing
- Process end-to-end monthly payroll accurately and within defined timelines.
- Maintain and update employee master data — new joiners, exits, transfers, salary revisions.
- Calculate and process salary components, overtime, arrears, bonuses, and reimbursements.
- Ensure accurate computation of full & final settlements for exiting employees.
Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate deduction and remittance of PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, and Labour Welfare Fund.
- Prepare and file statutory returns (PF/ESI/TDS) within regulatory deadlines.
- Stay updated on changes in payroll-related labour laws and tax regulations, and ensure timely policy updates.
- Coordinate with auditors during statutory and internal payroll audits.
Records & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, registers, and documentation.
- Generate payslips, Form 16, and other statutory documents for employees.
- Ensure payroll data integrity within the HRMS/payroll software.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare monthly payroll MIS reports, headcount cost reports, and variance analysis for management.
- Support budgeting and manpower cost planning with accurate payroll data.
- Reconcile payroll accounts with Finance on a monthly basis.
Employee Support
- Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, reimbursements, and tax declarations in a timely and professional manner.
- Guide employees on income tax declarations, investment proofs, and Form 16 processes.
- Coordinate with HR on onboarding/exit formalities impacting payroll.
3. Qualifications & Experience
- MBA/ PGDM in HR . Postgraduate in Commerce, HR, or related field; certification in Payroll Management is a plus.
- 7-10 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Working knowledge of PF, TDS, Professional Tax, and Labour Welfare Fund regulations.
- Proficiency in payroll software/HRMS platforms and advanced MS Excel skills.

Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
