We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience in both manual and automation testing. You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications by collaborating with cross-functional teams and driving continuous improvement in QA practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.
- Conduct functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA or similar.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers for issue resolution and quality assurance.
- Automate test cases using Selenium, WDIO, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
- Perform API testing and data validation using tools like Postman or Swagger.
- Validate backend systems, services, and ensure full test coverage of business workflows.
- Participate in requirement analysis to understand business needs and align QA processes.
- Contribute to the optimization of QA processes and documentation standards
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manual and automated QA testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and best practices.
- Proficient in test automation tools such as Selenium, WDIO, TestNG.
- Experience with API and performance testing (e.g., Postman, JMeter, k6).
- Familiar with CI/CD tools, Git-based workflows, and Jenkins pipelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in Agile environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Bonus skills (Good to Have):
- Knowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for automation scripting.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.
- Exposure to tools like Allure Reports, TestRail, or BrowserStack
