Role Overview
We are seeking a Freelance Architectural Designer to support architectural projects across multiple stages, including concept design, 3D modeling, design development, and construction documentation. This is a project-based role requiring accuracy, clarity, and timely delivery of architectural outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide architectural services for assigned projects in line with defined project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Prepare architectural drawings and documentation, including plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, and related deliverables, with clear dimensions and annotations to effectively communicate design intent.
- Develop, modify, and update 3D models as required, including projects where models are fully provided, partially provided, or need to be developed from scratch.
- Translate design intent and available inputs into architectural outputs suitable for review, coordination, or construction, depending on the project stage.
- Deliver architectural outputs across various project stages, including schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
- Revise and update drawings or models in response to feedback, clarifications, corrections, RFIs, or revised inputs during the course of the assignment.
- Review and address RFIs by preparing clarifications and updating drawings or documentation as required.
- Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, or clients through meetings led by the Project Manager to align architectural deliverables.
- Perform all work in accordance with professional standards, agreed timelines, and quality expectations communicated by the Company.
Requirements
- Degree in Architecture or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of relevant architectural design and documentation experience.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, or similar tools.
- Strong experience in architectural documentation and coordination.
- Ability to work independently in a freelance environment with strong attention to detail.
