Job Description: Purchase Manager

Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchase Manager to manage the procurement activities for Coffee Culture Surat. The role involves ensuring timely availability of all operational requirements, maintaining vendor relationships, optimizing purchase costs, and coordinating closely with the Supply Chain Manager to support smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily procurement activities for all operational requirements including food ingredients, beverages, packaging materials, housekeeping supplies, and other café essentials.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain Manager to understand daily purchase requirements and ensure timely availability of materials across outlets.
- Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained while sourcing products and materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores/operations teams to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Track purchase orders, deliveries, invoices, and supplier performance.
- Maintain proper purchase records, documentation, and reports.
- Work closely with the Operations, Kitchen, and Store teams to fulfill daily business requirements.
- Assist in cost control initiatives by identifying better purchasing opportunities and reducing wastage.
- Handle supplier issues, delays, and quality concerns effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company purchase policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience in purchase/procurement, preferably in the café, restaurant, hospitality, or FMCG industry.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Good understanding of inventory management and operational requirements.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

- Timely availability of materials for daily operations.
- Cost-effective purchasing and vendor negotiations.
- Reduction in stock shortages and wastage.
- Supplier quality and delivery performance.
- Accuracy in purchase documentation and reports.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
