Job Overview
We are seeking a creative, self-sufficient, and highly motivated Wedding Decor Designer & Event Coordinator to join our team. In this hybrid role, you will be the creative bridge between our clients and the final event execution. You will use traditional design principles alongside cutting-edge AI tools to deliver lightning-fast, highly accurate backdrop renders and decor concepts. Beyond design, you will manage client relationships, coordinate with vendors, handle our social media presence, and assist in on-site event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
1. Visual Design & AI Rendering
- Create elegant nameboard designs, welcome boards, and custom wedding typography.
- Develop detailed stage backdrop designs and 2D visual renders to help clients visualize their decor.
- Utilize Canva AI and Claude AI extensively to accelerate concept ideation, generate fast visual mockups, and draft accurate design variations.
- Apply strong knowledge of colour theory to suggest, match, and balance backdrop colour palettes seamlessly with the couple's wedding outfits.
2. Client & Vendor Coordination
- Communicate directly with clients to understand their vision, preferences, and expectations.
- Coordinate closely with printing vendors to ensure high-quality production, correct material selection, and timely delivery of all printed assets.
- Work hand-in-hand with the on-ground production team to ensure stage setups match the approved designs perfectly.
3. Social Media & Digital Marketing
- Manage Shribha’s social media channels by planning, creating, and publishing daily updates, Reels, and post-event highlights.
- Apply basic digital marketing knowledge to boost online visibility and engage with prospective clients.
4. Event Coordination
- Step out of the design studio when needed to help coordinate live events, manage timelines, and ensure decor elements are set up flawlessly on the wedding day.
Required Tools & Technical Skills
- AI Tools (Crucial): High proficiency in Canva AI and Claude AI for rapid design prototyping, asset generation, and communication layouts.
- Design Software: Solid foundational knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
- Design Core: Strong grasp of colour theory, spatial layout, and floral/fabric decor aesthetics.
Qualifications & Soft Skills
- Experience: Prior experience in graphic design, event management, or the wedding industry is highly preferred.
- Languages:
- Fluent English and Tamil (Speaking): Must be highly comfortable communicating with premium clients and local design partners.
- Hindi (Bonus): Conversational Hindi is a huge advantage for coordinating easily with ground staff and artisans.
- Work Style: Exceptionally self-sufficient, proactive, organized, and capable of working under tight wedding season deadlines.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
