Primary Purpose
As a Finance and Accounts Support, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance team by handling administrative tasks and ensuring the smooth functioning of the accounting department. You will work closely with the Lead-Accounts and other team members to provide essential support.
Roles and Responsiblities:
- Tally Accounting: Maintain books of accounts in Tally, including ledger creation, voucher entry, and report generation.
- Invoice Processing: Process invoices and payments in accordance with Indian tax laws and regulations.
- Accounts Receivable: Follow up on outstanding invoices and payments and maintain ageing reports to ensure timely collections.
- Accounts Payable: Ensure timely processing and payment of vendor invoices while adhering to company policies and tax regulations.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the general ledger and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- GST Compliance: Assist in preparation and reconciliation of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and maintain documentation for input tax credit.
- TDS Compliance: Support TDS calculation, deduction tracking, and maintain related records.
- MIS & Reporting: Prepare basic MIS reports, expense reports, and assist in financial reporting.
- Audit Support: Assist during internal and statutory audits by providing required data and documentation.
- Vendor & Customer Management: Maintain vendor and customer master data and support payment schedules and cash flow tracking.
- File Management: Organize and maintain financial documents in line with record-keeping requirements.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as required.
- Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting systems accurately and efficiently, adhering to Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS).
Skills and Knowledge
- Experience with Indian tax laws and regulations (GST, Income Tax, etc.) (mandatory)
- Knowledge of Indian banking regulations
- Experience with Indian accounting software (e.g., Tally)(mandatory)
- Experience in working on Oracle will be an added advantage
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
