Job Summary
St. Froebel Senior Secondary School is inviting applications from passionate, dedicated, and experienced educators for the position of TGT– English. The ideal candidate should possess excellent subject knowledge, outstanding communication skills, and a student-centric approach to teaching.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate (PG) degree in English from a recognized university.
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- CTET qualified (Preferred).
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience as a TGT English in a recognized CBSE/ICSE school.
Skills Required:
- Strong command of English language and literature.
- Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
- Ability to teach grammar, reading, writing, literature, and spoken English effectively.
- Proficiency in using smart boards and digital teaching tools.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans, assessments, worksheets, and maintain academic records.
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to holistic student development and continuous professional growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Teach English to middle school students as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and activity-based lessons.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Prepare question papers, worksheets, projects, and other academic resources.
- Encourage creative writing, public speaking, and literary activities.
- Participate actively in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development programmes.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
Preferred
- Experience teaching the CBSE curriculum.
- CTET qualification will be an added advantage.
- Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
