Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Business Development Executive for the CBG (Compressed Biogas) sector. The candidate will be responsible for generating leads, handling client meetings, understanding technical requirements, preparing techno-commercial proposals, and closing EPC/CBG plant projects with industries, municipalities, corporates, and investors.
The role requires a combination of technical understanding and business development capabilities in renewable energy, waste management, Bio-CNG, SATAT projects, and industrial solutions.
Business Development
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the CBG/Bio-CNG sector.
- Develop clients in industries, municipalities, corporates, food processing units, agro industries, dairy sector, and waste management companies.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis for renewable energy and waste-to-energy projects.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers, consultants, and government stakeholders.
Techno-Commercial Activities
- Understand client requirements and suggest suitable CBG/Bio-CNG solutions.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, presentations, and DPR support documents.
- Coordinate with engineering and technical teams for solution designing.
- Explain plant capacity, ROI, feedstock utilization, gas generation, and project feasibility to clients.
- Handle commercial negotiations and project discussions.
Client Meetings & Sales
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and project discussions.
- Deliver presentations regarding Bio-CNG/CBG plant solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to project closure.
- Maintain CRM records and sales pipeline updates.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with internal departments for proposal submission and execution planning.
- Prepare MIS reports, sales reports, and business forecasts.
- Support tendering and government project documentation when required.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of techno-commercial sales

- Understanding of EPC/industrial project sales
- Negotiation and client handling skills
- Knowledge of renewable energy / waste management industry preferred
- Good understanding of Excel, PowerPoint
