Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct age-appropriate dance classes for students as per the school timetable and activity calendar.
- Teach basic dance techniques, rhythm, coordination, expressions, posture and stage presence.
- Teach suitable Indian classical, folk, Bollywood, contemporary and other dance forms as required by the school.
- Communicate effectively with students in Gujarati, wherever required, to ensure clear understanding of instructions.
- Prepare students for Annual Function, Cultural Programmes, School Assemblies, Festivals, Competitions and Special Events.
- Create and choreograph dance performances according to the theme and requirements of school events.
- Select suitable music, songs, dance sequences, costumes and props in coordination with the concerned department.
- Conduct regular practice sessions and ensure students are well prepared for performances.
- Maintain discipline, safety and proper conduct during dance classes and rehearsals.
- Encourage students to participate confidently in cultural activities and competitions.
- Identify students with special talent in dance and provide additional guidance and practice.
- Monitor students’ progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Coordinate with class teachers, activity coordinators and school management for event planning and execution.
- Maintain proper records of student participation, performances and competition activities.
- Ensure proper care and responsible use of music systems, costumes, props and other dance-related resources.
- Participate in school meetings, training programmes and other institutional activities as assigned.
- Perform any other duties related to dance, cultural activities and student development as assigned by the management.
Qualification & Experience
- Graduate / Diploma / Degree in Dance, Performing Arts or a related field.
- Formal training or certification in Classical / Folk / Bollywood / Contemporary Dance will be preferred.
- Prior experience as a Dance Teacher in a school or educational institution is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in school annual functions, competitions and cultural programmes will be preferred.
- Fluency in Gujarati is mandatory.
- Good classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students of different age groups.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
