Job Summary
The Area Business Executive (ABE) is responsible for driving business growth by promoting Kalyam Pharma products, generating prescriptions, strengthening relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists, and distributors, while also supporting the ASM in field execution, team coordination, and market expansion.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Promote Kalyam Pharma products to doctors, clinics, and hospitals.
- Generate prescriptions and achieve monthly sales targets.
- Visit chemists, stockists, and distributors regularly.
- Increase primary and secondary sales in the assigned territory.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop new customers.
Market Expansion
- Appoint new stockists and distributors (as assigned).
- Expand doctor and chemist coverage.
- Conduct product awareness and promotional activities.
- Collect competitor market intelligence and submit reports.
Team Support
- Support the ASM in implementing sales strategies.
- Assist in onboarding and mentoring newly joined Medical Representatives.
- Participate in joint field work and provide field feedback.
- Help monitor daily reporting and territory performance.
Reporting
- Submit Daily Call Reports (DCR) on time.
- Share market feedback, competitor activities, and product demand.
- Maintain accurate records of doctor calls, chemist visits, stockist meetings, and order bookings.
Eligibility
- B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Sc., MBA or Any Graduate.
- 2–5 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Sales.
- Experience in doctor detailing and field sales preferred.
