About the Role
We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Subject Matter Expert (Social Science) to join our academic content team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Social Science subjects and experience in creating, reviewing, and improving educational content aligned with school curricula.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and validate Social Science content for school-level education.
- Create engaging lesson plans, question banks, worksheets, assessments, and study materials.
- Ensure content accuracy, curriculum alignment, and academic quality.
- Conduct research and update content based on the latest educational standards.
- Collaborate with instructional designers, editors, and curriculum teams.
- Support teachers and students by providing subject expertise when required.
- Review and proofread educational materials before publication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
- B.Ed. is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong subject knowledge and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Google Workspace.
- Prior experience in academic content development, curriculum design, or teaching is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of CBSE, ICSE, or State Board curriculum.
- Strong research and content-writing abilities.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital learning platforms is an advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in teaching, curriculum development, or educational content creation.
- Fresh candidates with exceptional subject knowledge may also be considered.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
