To manage and drive plant maintenance activities.
- Utilities & Plant Operations
- Core Utility Management: Monitor and oversee the daily operations of critical plant utilities, ensuring 100% uptime for Transformers, Generators (DG Sets), Air Compressors, Chillers, Electrical Panels, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems, RO, DM and General Water Utility Systems.
- Maintenance Strategy (Breakdown & Preventive)
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement a robust Annual Maintenance Schedule for all machinery to minimize unplanned downtime.
- Breakdown Analysis: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any equipment failure; implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to prevent recurrence.
- SOP Implementation: Ensure SOPs strict adherence through-out the team.
- Documentation: Maintain all relevant maintenance logs, history cards, compliance reports, and ISOrelated documentation.
- Project Management (Installation & Commissioning)
- Equipment Commissioning: Take full ownership of Utility Projects, ensuring the successful installation, trial, and commissioning of new utility equipment.
- Vendor Coordination: Act as the technical point of contact for vendor during setup of any utilities related equipment upgradation or installation.
- Timeline Management: Ensure engineering projects are completed within the stipulated timeline and budget without disrupting ongoing production.
- Inventory & Vendor Management
- Spare Parts Management: Analyze consumption trends to maintain an optimal inventory of critical spares, ensuring zero production loss due to part unavailability.
- AMC Management: Review, negotiate, and monitor all Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) with external service providers to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Repair Oversight: Plan and oversee all internal and external repair activities.
- Shift Management
- Organize manpower allocation to ensure 24/7 coverage of utility operations.
- Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in FMCG, Chemical, or mechanical manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with screw compressors, DG Set, Industrial chillers, and HT/LT Electrical Panels.
- Well-versed with basic ISO Requirements
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, Crisis management, Vendor negotiation skills.
