Job Summary
We are looking for an MEP Project Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in interior fit-out and design & build projects. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating MEP works in interior projects, understanding drawings and BOQs, executing site activities, ensuring quality and timelines, and supporting smooth project delivery in coordination with design and site teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and interpret interior MEP drawings, shop drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Understand BOQs, scope of work, and interior fit-out specifications.
- Execute and supervise MEP works for interior projects including lighting, power, HVAC, fire alarm, data, and ELV systems.
- Coordinate with interior designers, civil teams, vendors, and subcontractors for smooth execution.
- Ensure MEP installations align with interior finishes, furniture layouts, and design intent.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
- Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of MEP activities.
- Carry out quantity checks, quality inspections, and audits at site.
- Assist in preparing material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and as-built drawings.
- Coordinate material planning, delivery, and site storage for interior works.
- Support testing, commissioning, snag closure, and handover activities.
- Ensure adherence to safety norms and site housekeeping standards.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems in interior fit-out projects.
- Ability to read and coordinate interior layouts, reflected ceiling plans (RCPs), and MEP drawings.
- Hands-on experience in site execution and coordination.
- Good communication skills for client, consultant, and vendor interaction.
- Proficient in AutoCAD (interior & MEP drawings).
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for reports and documentation.
- Attention to detail, especially with finishes and coordination.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines typical of interior projects.
Added / Preferred Skills
- Experience in commercial offices, retail, hospitality, or residential interiors.
- Knowledge of lighting calculations, HVAC load basics (preferred).
- Exposure to cost control and variation management.
- Familiarity with local codes and interior fit-out standards.
- Basic knowledge of MS Project or similar planning tools (added advantage).

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
