We are expanding our Mumbai operations and hiring a Senior Admissions Manager to lead admissions delivery across all live and upcoming school projects.
Role Overview
This is a senior, high-ownership role for a hands-on admissions professional who has lived inside a school admissions office, knows what moves the needle, and can now lead admissions for multiple Ignify client schools — IB, Cambridge, CBSE, ICSE — alongside Ignify Pre School setup engagements. You will own admissions outcomes, build and lead on-ground admissions teams at partner campuses, and work closely with our marketing, branding, and events functions to ensure every funnel — from enquiry to enrolment — performs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own admissions delivery across all Ignify school projects — IB/Cambridge/CBSE/ICSE schools, Ignify Pre School setup engagements, and admissions scale-up mandates.
- Drive admissions targets for each client project, owning weekly and monthly enrolment numbers against committed KPIs.
- Lead daily reviews of on-ground admissions teams at client campuses — enquiry-to-walk-in, walk-in-to-application, application-to-enrolment conversion tracking.
- Hire, onboard, and train admissions counsellors at client schools; design and run training modules on counselling, parent objection handling, campus tours, and CRM discipline.
- Coordinate and oversee marketing, branding, promotions, and events — work with Ignify's marketing team and external agencies on Meta/Google campaigns, school open houses, community events, RWA activations, and parent referral drives.
- Travel pan-India to client school campuses for setup, audits, admissions drives, parent counselling sessions, and event execution. Typical travel: 8–12 days a month.
- Parent counselling — conduct senior-level counselling sessions for HNI and NRI families across IB, Cambridge, CBSE, and ICSE admissions.
- Reporting — weekly admissions dashboards to Ignify leadership and client school principals/promoters; monthly project reviews.
- Process building — codify SOPs, counsellor scripts, and admissions playbooks that scale across new client schools.
Who We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of K12 admissions and counselling experience in IB / Cambridge / CBSE / ICSE schools or in a school admissions consulting firm.
- Direct experience leading an admissions team (counsellors, tele-callers, front-office) and owning enrolment numbers.
- Strong understanding of the K12 admissions funnel — paid lead generation, walk-in management, parent counselling, fee structures, batch closure.
- Comfortable with CRM tools (Zoho/LeadSquared/HubSpot or equivalent), Google Workspace, Excel/Sheets dashboards, and WhatsApp Business.
- Excellent spoken and written English; Hindi essential; Marathi a plus for Mumbai catchment work.
- Open to pan-India travel — non-negotiable. Projects span Mumbai, Pune, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, and tier-2 cities.
- Self-driven, target-obsessed, calm under parent and promoter pressure, and able to operate independently across multiple client accounts.
- Graduate / postgraduate in any discipline. B.Ed., MBA (Marketing/HR), or counselling certifications are a plus.
