Role description
- MuleSoft Integration Developer
The MuleSoft Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. The role focuses on building scalable APIs, integrating enterprise applications, and delivering secure, high-performance integration solutions across cloud and on-premise environments.
- Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Develop and maintain RESTful and SOAP APIs using RAML/OAS standards.
- Build reusable APIs and integration services following API-led connectivity principles.
- Integrate enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, databases, and third-party systems.
- Work with JSON, XML, and various enterprise data formats.
- Translate business requirements into scalable technical integration solutions.
- Design and implement integration patterns and Microservices-based architectures.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices for deployment.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation and support production deployments and hypercare activities.
- Strong hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Expertise in API development using REST, SOAP, RAML, and OpenAPI (OAS).
- Strong knowledge of JSON, XML, and data transformation.
- Experience integrating SAP, Salesforce, databases, and external APIs.
- Good understanding of API-led connectivity and integration patterns.
- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and DevOps practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale integration projects.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, or hybrid MuleSoft deployments.
- Knowledge of message queues such as Kafka, JMS, or RabbitMQ.
- Experience with Git, Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of OAuth, JWT, OAuth2, SAML, SSL, and API security best practices.
- Experience with API Manager, Exchange, Design Center, and Anypoint Monitoring.
- MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Platform certifications are an added advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
