Job Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for storytelling, pacing, transitions, music, and visual quality, with the ability to turn raw footage into engaging and professional videos.
You will work on a variety of content, including YouTube videos, short-form content, social media reels, promotional videos, and other digital content.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging content.
- Create videos for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
- Edit Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and long-form content.
- Add transitions, text, subtitles, graphics, sound effects, and background music.
- Ensure videos are aligned with brand guidelines and creative requirements.
- Select suitable footage, music, and visual elements to enhance storytelling.
- Collaborate with the content and creative teams to understand video requirements.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver projects within deadlines.
- Maintain consistency in video quality, style, and branding.
- Organize and manage video files, footage, and project assets efficiently.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Good understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling, pacing, and composition.
- Knowledge of basic motion graphics, color correction, and audio editing.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating previous work.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating social media content and short-form videos.
- Knowledge of current social media video trends.
- Basic graphic design and motion graphics skills.
- Understanding of YouTube and Instagram content formats.
- Ability to suggest creative ideas and improvements rather than only following instructions.
