Job Title: Accounts Head – Honda Dealership
Location: Bhiwandi, Maharashtra
Job Summary
RK Autoworld Honda is looking for an experienced Accounts Head to lead and manage the complete finance and accounts function of our Honda dealership. The role involves overseeing all accounting operations across Sales, Service, Spares and all dealership branches, while leading a team of accountants and ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance and strong financial controls.
The ideal candidate should have prior experience in the automobile dealership industry and be capable of independently handling end-to-end accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the complete accounts department across all dealership branches.
- Manage accounting for Sales, Service, Spares and all other dealership operations.
- Ensure accurate daily accounting entries and timely month-end and year-end closing.
- Monitor cash flow, bank reconciliations and fund management.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks and statutory authorities.
- Ensure accurate accounting of vehicle inventory, spare parts inventory and fixed assets.
- Monitor receivables, payables and customer/vendor reconciliations.
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and accounting processes.
- Review accounting entries prepared by branch accountants and ensure accuracy.
- Lead, train and mentor the accounts team while allocating work and monitoring performance.
- Ensure timely salary processing and statutory payroll compliances.
- Support management with budgeting, profitability analysis and financial planning.
- Ensure complete compliance with Honda dealership accounting standards and company policies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation and cost control.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com). M.Com, CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.
- Minimum 6-10 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in an automobile dealership is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, financial reporting and statutory compliance.
- Hands-on experience with Tally Prime and MS Excel. Experience with dealership management systems (DMS) will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple branches and lead an accounts team.
