Job Summary
The Head of Housekeeping will be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations across the school campus, including academic blocks, hostels, staff residences, and common areas. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and efficient management of housekeeping staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the housekeeping team and allocate daily duties.
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene across classrooms, hostels, offices, dining areas, washrooms, staff residences, and common spaces.
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain housekeeping standards.
- Monitor housekeeping supplies, linen, equipment, and inventory.
- Coordinate with maintenance and other departments to address cleaning and facility-related requirements.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and monitor attendance and performance.
- Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Maintain housekeeping records, stock registers, and inspection reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate with relevant housekeeping experience, preferably in schools, hotels, hospitals, or large institutions.
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and organizational skills.
- Good knowledge of housekeeping procedures, inventory management, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to manage teams, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion of work.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
