Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities for solar projects. The ideal candidate must possess extensive experience in solar equipment purchasing and have excellent vendor management and negotiation capabilities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Graduate in any discipline (Mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Solar Equipment Procurement/Purchasing (Mandatory).
- Immediate joining required.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes related to:
- Solar Panels
- Inverters
- Mounting Structures
- Cables and Electrical Accessories
- Balance of System (BOS) Components
- Excellent negotiation skills with proven experience in price negotiations, commercial discussions, and supplier management.
- Strong communication, analytical, and vendor relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for solar projects.
- Source and develop reliable suppliers and vendors for solar equipment and materials.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost optimization.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project locations.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams for procurement planning and execution.
- Monitor market trends and pricing fluctuations in the solar industry.
- Evaluate supplier performance and maintain long-term vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
Compensation
- Salary: ₹55,000 – ₹65,000 per month.
- Compensation will be based on candidate experience and current Cost to Company (CTC).
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in solar equipment purchasing is mandatory.
- Candidates with experience in utility-scale or commercial solar projects will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be given priority consideration.
