Job description:
Core Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Hiring, training, mentoring, and providing performance feedback to sales representatives to maximize productivity.
- Strategic Planning: Creating and implementing sales plans, campaigns, and promotions to meet or exceed established sales quotas.
- Performance Analysis: Monitoring sales metrics, forecasting quarterly/annual revenue, and adjusting strategies based on market trends.
- Customer Relationship Management: Managing key customer accounts and resolving high-level, escalated client issues.
- Operational Management: Preparing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring efficient sales processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in sales (often as a top-performing sales representative) and team leadership.
- Leadership: Strong ability to motivate teams and drive performance.
- Communication: Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Abilities: Proficient in analyzing data to track performance metrics and identify growth opportunities.
- Technology: Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
