Civil Engineer Job Description:
A civil engineer is responsible for designing, constructing, and managing infrastructure projects such as roads, buildings, and bridges. They work on both public and private projects, creating plans and ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required safety standards. Some of the core responsibilities of a civil engineer are as follows:
1. Designing structures: A civil engineer is responsible for designing structures such as bridges, buildings, roads, railways, etc.
2. Analyzing project requirements: Civil engineers must analyze project requirements, including the environmental, social, and financial constraints.
3. Ensuring safety standards: They must ensure that structures are designed, built, and operated safely and in compliance with local and national safety standards.
4. Managing and supervising: A civil engineer usually manages and supervises the work of other professionals, including architects, construction workers, and surveyors.
5. Using computer-aided design tools: They need to use computer-aided design and drafting software to prepare designs, create simulations and analyze data.
6. Regular site inspections: It is important for civil engineers to carry out regular site inspections in order to ensure that the construction activities are in line with the plans.
7. Preparing budget estimates: They are responsible for estimating costs and adapting the design to meet the budgetary constraints.
8. Working with stakeholders: Civil engineers work with stakeholders such as government agencies, suppliers, contractors, and architects to ensure that their projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required safety standards.
Qualifications:
Civil engineers need to have a degree in civil engineering.

Ø Execution of Civil Construction Work.
Ø In depth civil engineering knowledge with technical specification experience.
Ø Should be able to deal with the contract and project management issues.
Ø Monitoring the site activities time to time.
Ø Team player and motivated to achieve the deadlines.
Ø Self starter with high drive and commitment.
Ø To assist the project manager in the civil works at site.
Ø Supervise civil and structural works as per consultant drawings.
Ø Regular reporting of material status and progress of work at site.
Ø Preparation of Estimation and Costing.
Ø MIS reporting - daily, weekly & monthly reports etc.
Ø Preparation of bill of quantities (BOQ).
Ø Good Knowledge on Auto Cad is mandatory.
Job Types: Permanent, Full-time
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
