The Cafe Steward and Captain oversee the floor operations during a shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Cafe Stewards.
Manage table reservations and guest seating arrangements.
Handle customer complaints or special requests professionally.
Oversee the Point of Sale (POS) system for billing and daily cash settlement.
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and service standards.
Conduct opening and closing checks for the shift.
Greet customers warmly and present menus.
Take accurate food and beverage orders.
Serve dishes and drinks promptly to the tables.
Clear tables, clean dining areas, and reset setups.
Restock service stations with cutlery, napkins, and condiments.
Assist the Captain and kitchen staff as needed
Requirements:
1–3 years of experience as a Captain or Senior Steward.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in handling billing software (e.g., Petpooja, Shawman).
Basic verbal communication in English and local languages
Freshers or 6+ months of experience in hospitality
Energetic, polite, and well-groomed
Shift timings - 4 Pm to 1 Am
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
