Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into polished videos for social media, YouTube, and campaigns
- Create motion graphics, lower thirds, and animated intros/outros using After Effects
- Design social media video assets, thumbnails, and reels using Canva
- Sync audio, colour grade footage, and add subtitles or captions as required
- Collaborate with the content team to understand briefs and deliver on time
- Maintain an organised library of raw footage, project files, and assets
- Repurpose long-form content into short-form clips (Reels, Shorts, etc.)
What we're looking for
- Prior experience editing videos — freelance, college projects, YouTube, or social media all count
- Hands-on proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (must be able to demonstrate)
- Working knowledge of Canva for quick-turnaround graphic and video content
- A portfolio or showreel is mandatory — applications without samples will not be considered
- Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and aesthetics
- Ability to work under deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Basic understanding of aspect ratios and formats for different platforms
- Knowledge of colour grading and audio mixing is a plus
Good to have
- Experience with AI video tools (CapCut, RunwayML, Descript, etc.)
- Understanding of social media trends and platform-specific content formats
