Key Responsibilities
- Walk-in Sales: Handle walk-in inquiries efficiently, providing tours of the banquet facilities and converting leads into bookings.
- Package Promotion: Proactively promote banquet packages and seasonal offers to potential clients and corporate groups.
- Revenue Strategy: Implement strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- End-to-End Execution: Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of all events (Weddings, Corporate Meetings, Social Gatherings).
- Menu Customization: Work closely with the Kitchen/Chef team to customize menus according to guest preferences and dietary requirements.
- Guest Relations: Be the primary point of contact during events to ensure a seamless experience and resolve any issues immediately.
- Team Leadership: Manage and train banquet staff, including servers and housekeepers, to maintain high service standards.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory for linens, cutlery, glassware, and beverages to prevent wastage or shortages.
- Inter-departmental Coordination: Coordinate with Housekeeping, Kitchen, and Maintenance departments for smooth event flow.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven experience as a Banquet Manager or in a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and convincing skills are a must to drive sales and close deals.
- Work Ethic: Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations during peak wedding or event seasons.
- Communication: Excellent command over communication (Gujarati, Hindi, and English preferred) and strong interpersonal skills.
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management or a related field is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Piplod, Surat, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Banquet Manager: 5 years (Preferred)
