Job Summary
The Purchasing and Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all inventory-related activities. This role ensures the availability of food, beverages, packaging materials, and operational supplies while maintaining optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. The Purchasing and Inventory Manager works closely with the kitchen, purchasing, and restaurant management teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient inventory management.
Location - Mohali
Shift Timings - Night shift (6.30 PM to 3.30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for food, beverages, consumables, and restaurant supplies.
- Conduct weekly and monthly stock counts and audits.
- Ensure accurate recording of stock movements, transfers, and adjustments.
- Maintain inventory records in the restaurant management system.
Stock Control & Cost Management
- Monitor inventory consumption and identify variances.
- Analyze food and beverage costs and recommend corrective actions.
- Minimize wastage, spoilage, theft, and overstocking.
- Track inventory turnover and optimize stock levels.
Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate with approved suppliers for timely replenishment of stock.
- Raise purchase requisitions based on inventory requirements.
- Verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
- Maintain supplier records and assist in vendor evaluations.
Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare inventory reports, stock variance reports, and consumption analysis.
- Provide regular updates to management on inventory status and cost trends.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with chefs, restaurant managers, and purchasing teams.
- Train staff on inventory handling and stock control procedures.
- Foster accountability and accuracy in inventory-related processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in inventory management, preferably in restaurants, hotels, or the food and beverage industry.
- Experience with inventory management software and ERP systems.
Required Skills
- Strong inventory control and stock management knowledge.

- Strong understanding of food cost control and restaurant operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management systems.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
