We are looking for an experienced Senior Desktop Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 technical support for end users, desktops, laptops, applications, networks, and IT infrastructure. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, incident resolution, system administration, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 desktop and end-user technical support.
- Troubleshoot Windows desktops, laptops, operating systems, applications, and hardware.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and basic network issues.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access through Active Directory.
- Support Microsoft 365 / Office 365 applications and user issues.
- Perform OS installation, software deployment, patching, and system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft applications.
- Manage antivirus/endpoint security and ensure systems comply with IT security policies.
- Handle IT incidents and service requests through ServiceNow / ManageEngine or similar ticketing tools.
- Monitor and maintain IT assets and ensure proper asset documentation.
- Coordinate with network, server, security, and application teams for complex issues.
- Maintain proper documentation of incidents, solutions, and IT procedures.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.
- Ensure compliance with defined SLA, IT policies, and security standards.
- Perform onsite support and participate in IT infrastructure-related activities when required.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 troubleshooting and administration.
- Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
- Good understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic networking.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
- Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and peripheral devices.
- Experience with ServiceNow, ManageEngine, Jira Service Management, or similar ITSM tools.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server administration.
- Knowledge of endpoint security, antivirus, and patch management.
- Good knowledge of IT asset management.
- Basic understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware / Hyper-V is an advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- CCNA / Microsoft / ITIL certification will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
