Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee our financial activities and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing general accounting operations, preparing financial reports, supervising junior staff, and ensuring accurate financial record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements
- Prepare and review financial statements, profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and other financial documents
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants and accounting staff
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
- Monitor and reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and ledgers
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory returns
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and ensure all audit requirements are met
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules
- Liaise with banks, vendors, and statutory authorities as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance
- Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience (preferably in a manufacturing or corporate setup)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally ERP, Tally Prime.
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities
- High level of integrity and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in handling audits, statutory filings, and financial MIS reporting
- Knowledge of ERP implementation or automation tools
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
