Job Summary
An MEP Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, verifying, and managing billing activities related to Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing works in construction projects. The role involves quantity take-offs, preparation of client and subcontractor bills, cost tracking, measurement verification, and coordination with project teams to ensure accurate and timely billing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit client bills based on project progress and contract terms.
- Verify quantities executed at site through measurements and drawings.
- Prepare Running Account (RA) bills and final bills for clients and subcontractors.
- Review work orders, contracts, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and specifications.
- Track variations, extra items, and change orders for additional claims.
- Coordinate with site engineers for work progress and quantity verification.
- Maintain billing records, measurement sheets, and supporting documents.
- Reconcile quantities with approved BOQs and project budgets.
- Assist in project cost control and cash flow monitoring.
- Prepare material reconciliation statements and consumption reports.
- Follow up with clients and consultants for bill certification and payment processing.
- Generate billing reports and MIS reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and contract requirements.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
