Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and student-focused Student Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admission process, understanding their academic goals, and recommending suitable courses. Candidates with experience in the education sector, academic counseling, telecalling, or customer relationship management are preferred. Freshers with excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, admissions, and career opportunities.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to respond to inquiries and follow up on leads.
- Understand students' educational needs and recommend suitable programs.
- Guide students throughout the admission and enrollment process.
- Maintain regular follow-ups to convert inquiries into admissions.
- Build strong relationships with students and parents by providing timely and accurate information.
- Maintain records of student interactions and update CRM/database regularly.
- Achieve admission and enrollment targets while ensuring a high level of student satisfaction.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure a smooth admission experience.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Experience in student counseling, education, telecalling, customer support, sales, or telecommunication is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication and convincing skills are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency in English and the local language is an added advantage.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
