To support Qualys’ continued growth and digital transformation initiatives, we require a Principal Salesforce Application Specialist to lead the design, development, enhancement and maintenance of scalable, enterprise-grade solutions across our enterprise revenue recognition systems. This role is critical to ensure that our Revenue platform remains a reliable, integrated, and efficient platform supporting our global Sales, Marketing, Finance and Customer Success organizations.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Principal Application Specialist, RevPro to lead ongoing design & development, enhancements, and application maintenance for enterprise revenue recognition systems. This role will serve as the primary techno-functional owner of Zuora Revenue (RevPro), ensuring platform stability, compliance, performance optimization, and continuous improvement aligned with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 standards.
The ideal candidate will combine deep functional revenue accounting expertise with strong hands-on system configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancement capabilities in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Application Development, Configuration & Enhancements

Design and configure RevPro for subscription, usage-based, milestone, and hybrid revenue models

Enhance allocation logic for bundled SaaS + services offerings

Configure SSP policies, contract modifications, and variable consideration scenarios
-
Support new product launches and pricing experiments with scalable revenue rules

Drive automation of revenue allocations, re-allocations, and cost amortization
-
Develop custom reports, reconciliations, and automation workflows
-
Optimize batch jobs, data ingestion processes, and performance parameters
2. Production Stability & Revenue Close Support
-
Own monthly/quarterly revenue close support within a SaaS ARR/MRR environment

Troubleshoot allocation, reclassification, and contract modification issues

Optimize revenue waterfall generation and reconciliation processes
-
Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective fixes

Maintain SLA-driven L2/L3 support

Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and configuration libraries
3. Integration & Data Management

Support and enhance integrations between RevPro and:

ERP systems – NetSuite / Oracle
-
CRM -Salesforce
-
Other Billing or Subscription platforms

Validate ARR/MRR reporting consistency across systems

Validate inbound and outbound interfaces
-
Ensure data integrity, reconciliation accuracy, and audit readiness across order-to-revenue lifecycle

Partner with Data/Analytics teams for revenue dashboards

Support data corrections, adjustments, and historical migrations
4. Governance & Compliance

Ensure continued compliance with ASC 606 / IFRS 15 standards

Support SOX control execution and audit requests

Maintain revenue reports, waterfalls, and disclosure outputs

Maintain documentation for revenue policies and system configurations
-
Participate in control testing and remediation initiatives

Implement change management processes aligned with SaaS release cycles
5. Continuous Improvement, Automation, Scale & Optimization

Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual revenue adjustments

Improve system performance, batch efficiency, and reporting timelines
-
Enable scalable revenue operations aligned with business growth targets
-
Manage release cycles, patch upgrades, and environment migrations
-
Support high-volume transaction environments
-
Act as RevPro SME for business and IT stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
-
10+ years in Enterprise Applications / Finance Systems
-
4-5 years hands-on Zuora RevPro configuration & support experience

Strong understanding of ASC 606 / IFRS 15

Experience supporting subscription/SaaS revenue models

Strong SQL/data analysis skills

Experience in global multi-entity environments

Experience with Zuora Billing is preferred.
