Job Summary
We are hiring an experienced Sr. System Test Engineer with strong expertise in PLC programming, Motion Control, Servo Drives, VFDs, Robotics, and Industrial Automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, commissioning, and testing complete machine automation systems and should be passionate about delivering high-quality industrial automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute system tests for complete automation systems.
- Analyze functional requirements and create PLC programs accordingly.
- Test motion control and robotics-related PLC function blocks before product release.
- Perform system integration testing and validate automation solutions.
- Configure and commission PLCs, Servo Drives, VFDs, and Inverters.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT).
- Configure PLC Backplane I/O and Remote I/O over Fieldbus networks.
- Follow defined testing processes and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
Mandatory Skills
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on PLC Programming experience.
- Strong programming knowledge in:
- Ladder Logic
- Structured Text
- Function Block Programming
- Minimum 6 years of experience in configuring and commissioning:
- Servo Drives
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
- Inverters
- Strong experience in:
- Motion Control Programming
- Multi-Axis Motion Systems
- Robotics Programming in PLC
- Experience in Machine Automation and Turnkey Project Commissioning.
- Hands-on experience with Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT).
- Experience with one or more Industrial Fieldbus technologies:
- EtherNet/IP
- PROFINET
- EtherCAT
- Ethernet PowerLINK
- CAN
- PROFIBUS
- ControlNET
- DeviceNET
- Experience configuring PLC Backplane I/O and Remote I/O.
- Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Electrical Wiring Design for Control Panels.
- Experience in Manual Testing.
- Exposure to Product Development environments.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6–10 years of relevant industrial automation experience.
- Strong practical experience; purely theoretical profiles will not be considered.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude.
- Quick learner and adaptable.
- Strong team player.
- Stable employment history (minimum 2–3 years with each employer preferred).

- Immediate Joiners Preferred.
- Candidates serving up to 30 days' notice are highly preferred.
- Notice period up to 60 days may also be considered.
