Job Summary:
The Site Store Keeper is responsible for managing and maintaining the construction site’s inventory and materials. This includes receiving, storing, issuing materials, and maintaining proper records for audits and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconcile with purchase orders.
- Store materials safely in appropriate locations with proper tagging.
- Issue materials to site engineers and contractors as per indent and maintain issuance records.
- Maintain minimum stock levels and reorder levels for critical items.
- Track and record inventory movement in software/manual register.
- Maintain store cleanliness and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly inventory and stock reports to head office.
- Coordinate with purchase and accounts teams for timely material procurement and billing.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and resolve any discrepancies.
- Handle tools, plant, and equipment records and ensure their proper usage and return.
- Monitor material wastage and report any misuse or damage immediately.
- Assist in audits and ensure compliance with site inventory policies and procedures.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of construction materials and storekeeping.
- Familiarity with inventory management software (ERP, Tally, MS Excel, etc.)
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently under site conditions.
Qualification & Experience:
- Graduate or Diploma (preferably in Logistics, Materials Management, or related field).
- 2–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of safety and inventory control procedures at construction sites.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
