This is a full-time remote role for a Senior New Relic Consultant Role.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements/design and translate those to applications in New Relic.

Implement, configure, and optimize the New Relic observability platform to improve application and infrastructure performance and support business goals.

Work with BAs & business to lead value and solution discovery workshops to deeply understand a client’s business challenges and technical environment.

Analyze performance data (transaction traces, metrics, logs, errors) to identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot problems, and provide recommendations for optimization to development and operations teams.

Enhancing, troubleshooting, and maintaining existing Dashboards & alerts in New Relic

Document application design, technical specifications, and deployment strategies in Jira & amp; Confluence.

Build dashboards and reports using New Relic Query Language (NRQL) and configure alert policies to enable proactive monitoring and incident response.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with excellent oral and written communication skills

2+ years of experience in integration preferably MuleSoft(API/Batch/Event) Development/Design/Architecture

4+ years of hands-on experience with New Relic products (APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Synthetics, etc.)

Strong understanding of observability concepts, including monitoring, logging, tracing, and metrics

Expertise in writing and optimizing NRQL

Expertise with SOAP, WSDL, XML, REST and JSON.

Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines etc

Development experience in one or more languages such as Java, .NET, Python, Ruby, Node.js, or C#.

Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Order to Cash Lifecycle, infrastructure, architecture and technology in related areas from a design/ support/ solutions perspective

Familiarity with tools like Bitbucket/Git, Eclipse, RAD, JIRA, and Confluence.

Ability to work 7 am – 3 PM EST.
