Roles & Responsibilities
1. Financial Management & Governance
- Take ownership of the entire Finance & Accounting function of the organization.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and financial records in accounting systems.
- Supervise and review accounting entries related to payments, receipts, invoices, taxes, and reimbursements.
- Provide financial insights and advisory support to the reporting authority and/or Board for strategic decision-making.
2. Accounts Receivable & Client Billing Management
- Oversee preparation and dispatch of client renewal quotes and invoices within defined
- timelines.
- Ensure timely payment follow-ups and resolution of long-outstanding receivables.▪ Monitor reconciliation of payments received vs receivables.
- Ensure proper tracking of TDS deductions and reconciliation with Form 26AS.
3. Accounts Payable & Vendor Payment Management
- Review and approve vendor invoices, service provider bills, and utility payments.
- Ensure timely vendor payments and verification of tax applicability including TDS.▪ Oversee reconciliation of corporate credit cards and expense documentation.
- Maintain vendor records including bank details and statutory information.
4. Statutory Compliance & Taxation
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns including GST, TDS, PF, Professional Tax, and
- other compliances.
- Review GST returns (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B) and ensure reconciliation of GSTR‑2A.
- Ensure preparation and filing of quarterly TDS returns and reconciliation with statutory records.
- Coordinate with Company Secretary and Chartered Accountants for statutory filings.
5. Financial Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and review monthly financial and management reports.
- Provide periodic financial updates to the reporting authority regarding financial performance and compliance.
- Ensure accuracy of financial trackers, reconciliation statements, and documentation.
6. Budgeting & Financial Planning
- Prepare and manage organizational budgets in consultation with the CEO and/or Finance Advisor.
- Monitor budget vs actual expenditure and highlight variances.
- Provide financial forecasts and cost-control recommendations.
7. Audit & Regulatory Coordination
- Coordinate with statutory auditors for half‑yearly and annual audits.
- Ensure readiness of financial records, reconciliation statements, and supporting
- documentation.
- Support responses to statutory notices or financial scrutiny matters.
8. Banking & Financial Liaison
- Liaise with banks for corporate banking matters including accounts, credit facilities, and guarantees.
- Ensure timely renewal and closure of bank guarantees.
- Maintain relationships with financial institutions and advisors.
9. Team Leadership & Operational Oversight
- Lead and supervise the Finance team.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs and financial processes.
- Review team outputs and drive operational improvements.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments.
10. Decision Making & Ownership
- Act as the primary finance decision-maker for operational finance matters.
- Identify financial risks and implement corrective actions.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, controls, and reporting systems.
11. ISO Compliance & Governance
- Define and implement Quality Management System (QMS) and Information Security
- Management System (ISMS) processes for Drive culture of quality & security across
- the function, ensuring compliance with ISO standards.
- Maintain documentation for ISO audits and oversee corrective actions to address any non-compliance.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth execution of ISO compliant processes.
Qualification / Skill-sets
- Hands‑on experience managing complete accounting functions including receivables, payables, taxation, financial reporting, budgeting, and audit coordination.
- Strong analytical and decision‑making abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of ownership, integrity, and reliability.
- Strong leadership and team management capability.
Proficiency in MS‑Excel and accounting ERP systems such as Zoho Books or similar platforms.
Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per year
