Job Summary
Sigachi Industries is seeking a qualified and experienced DCS Engineer to manage and optimize Distributed Control System (DCS) operations at its Dahej manufacturing facility. The role involves monitoring process parameters, supporting production operations, ensuring process safety, and maintaining efficient plant automation systems to achieve production and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control plant operations through the Distributed Control System (DCS).
- Ensure smooth and safe operation of process equipment and production systems.
- Analyze process trends and recommend corrective actions for process optimization.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, maintenance, and utility teams for uninterrupted operations.
- Troubleshoot process deviations, alarms, and control system-related issues.
- Perform process parameter monitoring and maintain batch records accurately.
- Support commissioning, startup, shutdown, and process change activities.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist in process improvement, automation enhancement, and energy optimization initiatives.
- Generate production reports, trend analysis reports, and shift documentation.
- Participate in HAZOP, risk assessments, and continuous improvement programs.
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with DCS operations in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of process engineering principles and plant operations.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, instrumentation, and process control systems.
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and control philosophies.
- Familiarity with batch process operations and manufacturing documentation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
