Position Title: Field Engineer Job Purpose Infra readiness (IP/Optical), I&C, provisioning, integration & Testing at Telecom Sites.
Key Responsibilities
1. End to end responsible for transmission readiness at the sites (New sites / Brown field sites).
2. Responsible for media provisioning and testing with the help of related stakeholder.
3. Good understanding of Telecom Service Providers Networks requirement on the transmission (IP/Optical).
4. Well versed on the deployment and operation scenarios on the transmission, CSR, access router, aggregation router and Radio.
5. Coordinate with the customer for site readiness and other infra requirement and perform testing in the stipulated time.
6. Working on Network Topologies and Device Management (Fault, Performance, Configuration).
7. Understanding Network topology like ring structure, daisy chain structure and their traffic handling capabilities and characteristics.
8. Understanding of Quality Assurance processes including understanding the requirement and Test Cases, Test Strategies and perform tests at site as POC.
9. Making and analysing different reports like port utilization, fault and alarm logs.
10. Basic remote troubleshooting or onsite technical activities such as, hardware replacement, coordination with NOC, Vendors & Service providers.
11. Work with a team on an out-of-hours in Field support mainly in day and also in night with pre planned activity schedule. Troubleshoot logged faults and isolate the cause to minimise impacts.
12. Work on installation of new equipment’s, Power Cabling, fibre patch cable routing along with the maintenance of existing systems
13. Execution of commands on configuration as per the NOC & remote guidance.
14. Develop and refine best practice. Show technical competency during Technical Escalation Management.
Key Deliverables
1. Transmission & IP equipment up and running on the site successfully.
2. Site Integration and On-air without any service affecting alarms.
3. Acceptance of the site to the customer.
4. Agreed TX/IP KPI fulfilment as per SLA Functional Competency Qualification
Diploma/ITI/B. Tech – Electronics & Telecommunication, Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Engineering Behavioural Competency

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.83 per month
