Job Description: Purchase Engineer
Position: Purchase Engineer
Experience: 2-4 Years
Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Location: Pune
Salary - 25,000 to 35,000 per month (depending upon experience and skills)
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handle procurement of mechanical, electrical, and civil-related materials required for project execution.
- Coordinate with vendors for quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and timely material delivery.
- Follow up with suppliers to ensure quality materials are supplied as per specifications.
- Verify quantity, quality, and compliance with approved standards.
- Maintain records of purchase orders, delivery status, inspection reports, and vendor documents.
- Support QA/QC activities related to mechanical equipment, piping, structures, and basic civil works.
- Coordinate with site engineers and vendors for resolving service/quality-related issues.
- Ensure proper documentation for material approvals, test certificates, and inspection reports.
- Assist in vendor evaluation and performance monitoring.
Required Skills:
- Basic knowledge of procurement and vendor management
- Understanding of QA/QC procedures for mechanical and basic civil works
- Ability to read drawings and technical specifications
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites if required
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Exposure to industrial projects, EPC projects, or CBG/biogas plants will be an added advantage
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
