Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation
- Assist senior chefs in the preparation of bakery, pastry, and café menu items.
- Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
- Prepare ingredients, fillings, sauces, sandwich components, and mise en place.
- Assist in baking, finishing, plating, and packaging products.
Production Support
- Support daily production of breads, croissants, pastries, cakes, and café dishes.
- Ensure timely preparation of products according to production schedules.
- Monitor product quality and report any issues to senior chefs.
Hygiene & Food Safety
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
- Follow food safety, personal hygiene, and kitchen SOPs.
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients.
- Practice FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory management.
Kitchen Operations
- Assist in receiving and storing raw materials.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and utensils.
- Support inventory checks and stock management.
- Help reduce wastage and maintain cost control.
Requirements
- 0–3 years of experience in a bakery, pastry kitchen, café, hotel, or restaurant.
- Fresh culinary graduates may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Willingness to learn artisan baking and modern café production.
- Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of bakery, pastry, or hot kitchen operations.
- Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude and team spirit.
Pay: ₹10,085.24 - ₹20,000.00 per month
