Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented 2D & 3D Furniture Designer to join our team in Kirti Nagar, Delhi. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in furniture or interior design, with the ability to transform concepts into production-ready furniture designs.
The role requires expertise in 2D drafting, 3D modeling, furniture detailing, and close coordination with production teams to ensure high-quality execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Design innovative and functional furniture for residential, commercial, and modular projects.
- Prepare accurate 2D working drawings, layouts, elevations, and joinery details using AutoCAD.
- Develop realistic 3D models and high-quality renders using SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, or similar software.
- Coordinate with workshop and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are executed as per specifications.
- Understand client requirements and provide practical design solutions.
- Modify and optimize designs based on client feedback and production feasibility.
- Ensure proper material selection, dimensions, ergonomics, and functionality.
- Maintain design documentation and support the production process from concept to execution.
Candidate Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Furniture Design or Interior Design.
- Prior experience in the furniture manufacturing or interior industry is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
- Hands-on experience with SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, SolidWorks, or similar 3D software.
- Good understanding of furniture construction, joinery details, ergonomics, and space planning.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and local furniture manufacturing processes.
- Excellent visualization, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and production teams.
Educational Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, Architecture, or a related field.
