Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher (PRT) to educate and nurture students in Classes 1–5. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that supports the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the school's curriculum and academic calendar
- Create lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments tailored to different learning levels
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular tests, assignments, and observations
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and behavior
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress through PTMs, report cards, and diaries
- Identify learning difficulties and provide additional support or refer to appropriate resources
- Integrate co-curricular activities, art, and value education into daily teaching
- Participate in school events, morning assemblies, and extracurricular activities
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and coordinators for interdisciplinary projects
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times
- Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education (B.El.Ed / D.El.Ed / B.Ed) or equivalent
- Graduation in any discipline (mandatory); B.Ed preferred/required as per school norms
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication skills in English/Hindi
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with young children
- Classroom management and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Google Workspace, smart-class tools)
- Creativity in lesson delivery and activity-based learning
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
