Position: Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Transformer & Power Systems
Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical designs for transformer and power system projects.
- Develop Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), General Arrangement (GA) Drawings, Control & Relay Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, and other engineering documents.
- Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Study customer requirements, tender specifications, and provide technically compliant solutions.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, OEMs, and internal project teams during project execution.
- Support engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Review drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards and project specifications.
- Assist in resolving technical issues during project execution.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for technical approvals and material selection.
- Maintain engineering documentation and ensure timely submission of deliverables.
Desired Candidate ProfileEducation
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (Mandatory)
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in electrical design, proposal engineering, or project engineering.
- Experience in Transformer, Power Transmission & Distribution, Substation, Electrical EPC, or Power Infrastructure projects.
Preferred Experience From Companies
Candidates having experience with reputed organizations such as:
- Alstom
- Hitachi Energy
- CG Power (Crompton Greaves)
- Toshiba
- Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL)
- Siemens Energy
- GE Grid Solutions
- Bharat Bijlee
- Voltamp Transformers
- Transformer manufacturing companies or Electrical EPC organizations will be preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Power Transformers, Distribution Transformers, and Electrical Power Systems.
- Experience in preparing electrical drawings and design documentation.
- Understanding of Substations, Transmission & Distribution Systems.
- Knowledge of IS, IEC, IEEE and relevant electrical standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or equivalent design software.
- Ability to prepare technical offers, engineering calculations, BOQs, and tender documents.
- Good understanding of protection systems, switchgear, transformers, and electrical equipment.
