Key Responsibilities
Requirement of Procurement Coordinator (Projects) - having a mix of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills to source materials, manage suppliers, and meet project timelines effectively. They will be required to typically oversee sourcing, contracts, and supply chain strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of materials and services. They build on procurement engineer roles with greater leadership and strategic focus.
Key Skills
Advanced negotiation, contract management, and financial analysis for cost optimization. Leadership to manage vendors, plus project management skills for aligning procurement with timelines.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical specifications to evaluate materials and equipment.
Knowledge of supply chain processes, ERP/procurement software (added advantage), and compliance standards like quality control or ISO.
Expertise in RFQ preparation, Tenders, supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and contract management for project needs.
Focus on the Core requirement for Quality, Delivery and Cost for the successful completion of the Projects.
Soft Skills Strong negotiation, vendor relationship management, and communication for cross-team collaboration.
Project management abilities to handle multiple tasks, budgets, and deadlines without delays.
Analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills for risk mitigation and efficiency.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Diploma with experience in Procurement.
Experience in supply chain or business administration or certifications like CPSM or PMP provide a competitive edge.
Experience Requirements 5- 8 years in procurement for project related requirements. Proven track record in project environments like EPC, Contracts, including vendor management, budgeting, and risk mitigation.
Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
